The Dukes of Prunes started out as a music school project that two of the members, being teachers at the music school, put together in order to familiarize new generations of musicians with Frank Zappa.
Eventually the project outgrew the music school and evolved into a hard hitting Zappa ex-teenage combo.
In 2023 they are set to hit the stage again to fight the world without Frank on the 30th anniversary of his passing.
