phyt can be traced back to the ancient Greek phytón, plant, and this metaphor fits perfectly with the music of the young Leipzig duo.

Perfectly formed drumming and effective saxophone loops create an exciting, new sound experience: motifs entwine around and apart, intertwine in complex rhythms, but always remain rooted in the groove. The result is sophisticated and danceable music that is difficult to categorize.
