» LiLo's Zapmospheres

Born in 1964 in the Paris area, Lilo is a self-taught guitarist who discovered Zappa at the age of 10.
His oldest Zappa project goes back to 1996, as a member of the Golden Poodle Quintet presented by Christophe Delbrouck at the first Freak-Out Party organised by Les Fils De l'Invention in Paris.
Since then, LiLo has been a regular guest, as a solo artist, at many events promoted by the French Zappa society, including the International Zappology Conference which was held in Paris in July 2008.
Zapmospheres is the name of his current Zappa one-man show, which includes such landmarks pieces as Soup & Old Clothes, Heavy Duty Judy, Stinkfoot, Watermelon In Easter Hay and a fantastic rendition of Amnerika.
Lilo's first cd, also called “Zapmospheres”, is ready to be published. Lilo plays a Steinberger Spirit built with splittable Seymour Duncan SH11 and SH2 pickups and gets his unbelievably realistic Zappa guitar sound from a set of secret special effects.
He will play Zappa guitar from the Joe's Garage period. He plays alone with loops and/or a cd in the background, but he would honored to be a guest guitarist for other bands during Zappanale 21. Lilo is also currently a member of the Parisian rock project Later That Night.

The Muffin Men are Europe's senior and most busy Zappa band. They formed up in the year 1990 for a concert on the occasion of Zappa's 50st birthday. Meanwhile they played with Jimmy Carl Black, Don Preston, Ike Willis, Mike Keneally, Bunk Gardner and Napoleon Murphy Brock. At this year's Zappanale they are going to perform with Denny Walley.
