» Zappanale #23 August 1 - 4, 2012 The Torture stops in 72 days ! 01./02./03./04. Festival Ground » Dances with DeWolff...
… is for those of you who like good old handmade rock - and that's exactly what you can expect from these "teen rock monsters". The three guys from Netherlands are Pablo van de Poel (guitar, vocals), Luka van de Poel (drums) and Robin Piso (hammond organ, vocals) and they are a real live sensation. In the last years they've hogged the limelight at european festivals. One of their concerts has been broadcasted by WDR at 'Rockpalast'. Greetings from The Doors, Cream, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple: It's the blues rock from the sixtie's and seventie's! But the most fascinating point is that they inspire especially the young audience. Due to their natural characters and unconcern they form a real contrast to the Plastic People from the fast moving teenie pop industry. They're sweating unvarnished, and soul and passion are passing on to the festival visitors, and it's party time.
For us it's continuing a tradition of Zappanale: It's not always the Zappa Cover Bands which make the big highlights of the festival. Let's think of Colosseum, Raoul Petite, Gong, Lazuli and many more. These three dutch guys will fit perfectly into this line.
