There's certainly not a lot of pre-historical organic waste on stage, when norwegian  Dead Dino Storage are presenting their stunning Zappa hommage. At the Larvik Zappa festival they have been the absolute blockbuster.

In their beginning in 1996 the young musical students had their main focus on progressive rock music. Several concerts where following with King Crimson-, Yes-, Gentle Giant- and Rush- material. But they also have up to now tracks from Happy the Man, Genesis, UK, ELP, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Brand X in their repertoire.

In 1998 they occupied themselves with the late Zappa, and this with big success. Today they are able to play extended concerts exclusively with Zappa's work.

With their ambition to approximate the original sound as near as possible they make themselves hated by every sound engineer. Without doubt Dead Dino Storage shows brilliant musicians on stage, with an enormous spectrum of variation of their instruments.
