01.08. 2013 - 04.08. 2013 The Torture stops in 72 days !» Quantum Fantay
And now … something completely different: Space Rock at its best à la Quantum Fantay. One can say that Quantum Fantay is the backing group of Pieter "pete mush" Van den Broeck. The belgian alone is composing all the pieces and with his keyboard he's dominating the performance.
If you hear space rock you might think of bands like Hawkwind and Ozric Tentacles, which is quite right. But with regard to Quantum Fantay it's completely wrong. The four guys around Pete Mush are playing modern stuff, but it's neither monotone nor hectic. In fact the sound is very atmospheric and consists of symphonical stylistic elements. With their delight in playing they electrified the audience at Burg Herzberg Festival in 2007 and 2009.
What Pete Mush (synthesizers), Gino Bartolini (drums, gong), Dario Frodo (guitars), Charles Sla (flute) and Jaro (bass) are performing on stage is the sort of space rock that never gets boring. One review about their newest CD „Bridges Of Kukuriku“ is getting to the heart of it: Quantum Fantay´s Space Rock is happening there, where Hawkwind and Ozric Tentacles would never meet.
Discographie: Agapanthusterra (2005) Ugisiunsi (2007) From Herzberg to Livingroom (2007) Kaleidothrope (2009) Bridges of Kukuriku (2010)
"One of the best bands who can bring a perfect mix between space rock and progressive rock music"
